Description

You can make jelly from any frozen berry or rich juice in a similar way. You can also create a two-layer jelly. I made it from honeysuckle and plum compote. It turned out very delicious! If you take the finished jelly out of the refrigerator, carefully remove it from the molds, sprinkle it with sugar, and leave at least part of it at room temperature for 2–3 days (as long as you can stand it) (or even better, place it on a radiator), it will be absolutely amazing! The main thing is, no chemicals, everything is natural and very healthy, and it's quite simple!

Ingredients

  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Oranges 4 pieces
  • Agar-Agar 2 teaspoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Juice 3–4 oranges to get 400 ml. My juice comes with pulp since I make it in a Thermomix, but you can also make it without pulp, which will be fine too.

Step 2

Combine 300 ml of juice with agar-agar and let it sit for about 30 minutes. I used 2 level teaspoons. After 30 minutes, combine the remaining 100 ml of juice with sugar and bring it to a boil.

Step 3

Add the juice with agar-agar while stirring, bring to a boil, and cook for about 5–7 minutes. Remove from heat and let it sit for about 10 minutes.

Step 4

Prepare the molds. Pour the hot mixture into them, let it cool to room temperature, and then place it in the refrigerator.
