Homemade brioche
Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 5 pieces
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Salt 0 oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Butter 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients. Leave the butter at room temperature beforehand.
Step 2
Mix 4 eggs.
Step 3
Add sugar, yeast, and 100 ml of warm milk to the eggs. Mix well.
Step 4
Add the flour and knead for 10 minutes.
Step 5
Gradually add 100 grams of softened butter to the dough. After 2 minutes, add salt.
Step 6
Leave the dough at room temperature for 30 minutes. Then refrigerate the dough for 1.5 hours.
Step 7
You can also leave the dough in the refrigerator overnight.
Step 8
Grease the pan with the remaining butter.
Step 9
Place the dough in a mold and let it rise at room temperature for 1.5 to 2 hours. If the kitchen is cool, you can leave the dough in the closed oven with the light on.
Step 10
Mix the remaining milk and egg, and brush the mixture over the brioche.
Step 11
Bake for 25–30 minutes at 355°F, preferably in convection mode.
Step 12
Cool on a rack for 10 minutes, then remove the brioche from the pan and let it cool completely on the rack.
