Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Heat the syrup, butter, and sugar, mix well, then add vanilla, Hercules oats, chopped dried apricots, and pears. Stir to combine.

Step 2

Press the mixture into an 18 cm baking dish and bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes, then score into 12 strips and allow to cool completely in the dish before removing.
