
Herb Flatbreads

Description
One of the simplest Azerbaijani dishes, these flatbreads come with various fillings. Most often, they are filled with herbs, cheese, or cheese with herbs. The amount of herbs can vary greatly, depending on personal taste preferences.
Ingredients
- Ground coriander 1 bunch
- Wheat Flour 2 glasses
- Water ½ glasses
- Butter 5 oz
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Scallions 1 bunch
- Salt 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Combine the flour with the salt, add a quarter cup of warm water, and mix well.
Step 3
Pour in the remaining water while stirring constantly. Knead the dough until it's firm.
Step 4
Chop the herbs.
Step 5
Mix with 100 grams of melted butter.
Step 6
Divide the dough into four equal parts.
Step 7
Roll each one out into a thin pancake, about 1 millimeter thick.
Step 8
Place the filling on one half of the rolled-out dough, cover it with the other half, and seal the edges using a fork. It is important to minimize the amount of air left inside.
Step 9
Place the kutabs on a preheated dry skillet and cook for 2–3 minutes on each side over low heat.
Step 10
Brush the cooked qutab with butter.
