Hedgehog Pastries
Ingredients
- Butter 20 oz
- Sugar 2 cups
- Farm fresh eggs 6 pieces
- Sour Cream 1 can
- Wheat Flour 3 cups
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Condensed Milk 1 can
- Cocoa Powder 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds ½ cup
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Melt 200 grams of butter, add 2 cups of sugar, mix, and beat in 6 eggs one at a time.
Step 2
Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to a cup of sour cream, mix, and then add the sour cream to the mixture. Add the flour and knead the dough.
Step 3
Roll out the dough on a baking parchment to a thickness of 0.5 cm. Bake at 390°F until lightly golden, remove, and while still warm, cut out circles using cookie cutters or a glass. Dry the scraps in the oven and grind them in a blender. Mix the crumbs with the chopped walnuts.
Step 4
Make the cream. For this, mix 400 grams of slightly softened butter with a can of condensed milk and two tablespoons of cocoa.
Step 5
Using a piping bag, pipe the cream onto each of the circles, and sprinkle with the walnut crumbs on top. Refrigerate for about 40 minutes.
