Ingredients
- Oats 1 cup
- Raisins 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 5 tablespoons
- Pitted Dates 10 pieces
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Coconut Oil 3 tablespoons
- Honey 3 teaspoons
- Water 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a blender, grind the oats, add the raisins and cocoa powder, and blend thoroughly again. Shape the mixture into bars and make a slight indentation in the center.
Step 2
For the caramel, soak the dates in hot water for 10 minutes, then drain the water and blend with the milk until smooth. The caramel should not be too runny, so add the milk gradually. Next, cover the bars with the caramel and place them in the refrigerator to set for 2 hours.
Step 3
After that, prepare the chocolate. You will need a saucepan or a milk pitcher. Melt the coconut oil, add the cocoa powder and water, stirring constantly. The chocolate should be liquid; at the very end, add a spoonful of honey and, if necessary, a little more water.
Step 4
Remove the bars from the refrigerator and dip each one in the chocolate. Since the bars are cold, the chocolate will set very quickly. Return them to the refrigerator until fully set.
