Description
Hazelnut and chocolate cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 1 cup
- Baking Powder ½ teaspoon
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 0.3 cups
- Hazelnut 5 oz
- Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
- Liquid dark chocolate 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 320°F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. Using a mixer, beat the softened butter with sugar until creamy, then add 0.5 cups of chopped hazelnuts and vanilla. Combine with the flour.
Step 2
Using a large spoon, shape the dough into small logs and place them on the baking sheet. Bake until golden brown, about 20 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet, then transfer to a plate to cool completely.
Step 3
Melt the chocolate in a double boiler. In a clean bowl, place 0.3 cups of chopped hazelnuts. Dip one end of each cookie into the melted chocolate, then into the nuts. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining cookies. Let sit for 1 hour until the chocolate hardens.
