Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla salt 1 teaspoon
- Egg white 1 piece
- Salt ¼ teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
- Chopped almonds to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the room temperature butter with sugar and vanilla sugar for about 5 minutes.
Step 2
Add the egg and mix well.
Step 3
Combine salt, baking powder, cinnamon, and flour, adding gradually while kneading the dough.
Step 4
The dough should be firm and not sticky, but do not add too much flour, or the cookies will be hard to shape. If you use too little flour, the cookies may spread too much in the oven.
Step 5
Refrigerate for half an hour.
Step 6
Take small pieces of dough and roll them into 'sausages' on the table. This will be the base for the fingers. Shape them into finger forms.
Step 7
Melt the chocolate, add a little water, and coat the area for the nail and the tip of the finger.
Step 8
Place an almond on each finger and press down.
Step 9
Bake the cookies for about 20 minutes at 355°F.
