Ingredients
- Milk 10 fl oz
- Dry Malted Milk Powder 10 fl oz
- Butter 10 oz
- Sugar 10 oz
- Wheat Flour 0 oz
- Vegetable Oil 10 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
- Cardamom 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Warm the milk and pour it into the mixture of flour and dry milk.
Step 2
Knead the dough and let it cool.
Step 3
For the syrup, mix sugar, water, and cardamom. Bring to a boil and strain.
Step 4
Roll small balls from the dough (you can add a nut in the center of the ball).
Step 5
Melt the butter in a deep frying pan, add the vegetable oil, and heat.
Step 6
Drop the balls into the hot oil and fry them until they are covered with a golden crust (about 20 minutes).
Step 7
Remove the balls with a slotted spoon, let the oil drain, and dip them in the syrup.
Step 8
Let them soak for 1-2 hours, after which the dessert can be served.
