Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the apples, peel them, and cut them into wedges. Add water and boil for 20 minutes. Let it sit overnight.
Step 2
Then strain the juice and add 1 kg of sugar for every liter. Boil for 3–4 minutes, stirring continuously. Skim off the foam.
Step 3
As soon as the juice starts to thicken, pour it into shaped molds. You can add a little elderberry or plum juice for color or use a special food coloring.
