Goulash Soup "Bavarian Style"

Ingredients

  • Beef 20 oz
  • Onion 5 oz
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Passata Tomato Sauce 0 oz
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Chicken Broth 0 qt
  • Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Paprika 2 tablespoons
  • Cayenne Pepper to taste
  • Dried Chamomile to taste
  • Black Cumin (Cumin) to taste
  • Bay leaf 1 piece
  • TABASCO® to taste
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
  • Wheat Flour 1½ tablespoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the meat into small strips, removing any tendons, fat, and membranes.

Step 2

Sauté the onion and garlic in oil until translucent, add the meat and tomato paste, and simmer everything for about 5 minutes.

Step 3

Dice the tomatoes and add them to the meat. Pour in the broth, bring to a boil, and then reduce the heat.

Step 4

Add the spices (sweet paprika is the star of the show, so use it generously, the rest to taste). Cook the soup until the meat is tender.

Step 5

Cut the red and green bell peppers into strips. Add them to the soup and cook until done. Thicken the soup with flour mixed with water, and bring to a boil.
