Ingredients
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Dry yeast 0 oz
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Vanilla salt 5 tablespoons
- Farm fresh eggs 3 pieces
- Cottage cheese 20 oz
- Canned Peaches 1 can
- Orange zest 1 teaspoon
- Vanilla Protein Powder 3 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Crumble the yeast and dissolve it in warm milk. Add 250 grams of flour, 75 grams of butter, 50 grams of sugar, a pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons of vanilla sugar, and mix the dough with a mixer.
Step 2
Cover the dough with a towel and let it rise in a warm place for 40 minutes.
Step 3
On a floured surface, roll out the dough into a rectangle shape. Place it on a baking sheet, forming a high edge. Cover and let it rest for another 15 minutes.
Step 4
To prepare the filling, drain the apricots in a sieve and let them drain.
Step 5
Mix the cottage cheese with the eggs, orange zest, vanilla sugar, and pudding powder.

Slice the apricots into thin wedges and fold them into the cottage cheese mixture. Spread the filling over the dough.

Preheat the oven to 355°F. Crumble the butter, flour, and sugar together by hand. Evenly distribute it over the pie and bake for 50 minutes.

Transfer the pie to a wire rack and let it cool. Serve, optionally garnished with apricot slices and dusted with powdered sugar.
