Description

Goat Cheese, Nectarine, and Rosemary Tart

Ingredients

  • Shortcrust Cake Mix 20 oz
  • Goat cheese 5 oz
  • Nectarines 5 pieces
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Honey 3 tablespoons
  • Fresh Rose Hips 0 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Roll out the pastry on a floured surface and place it in a tart pan, trimming any excess from the edges. Gently press the pastry into the pan and prick it in several places with a fork. Chill for 30 minutes.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

Step 3

Line the pastry with foil and fill it with grains or legumes. Bake until the edges are golden brown, about 20 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and grains, and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes. Let cool.

Step 4

Arrange thin slices of goat cheese on the pastry, covering the entire surface evenly.

Step 5

Slice the nectarines and place them on top of the cheese.

Step 6

Sprinkle with sugar and bake for another 20 minutes at 300°F.

Step 7

Remove the tart, drizzle with honey (if your honey is thick, it's better to melt it beforehand), and sprinkle with chopped rosemary.
