
Gingerbread Cookies with Honey

Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Salt ½ teaspoon
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Ground clove 1 teaspoon
- Honey 10 oz
- Powdered Sugar 5 oz
- Cilantro 3 teaspoons
- Ground Cinnamon 1 teaspoon
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Cocoa Powder 0 oz
- Baking Powder 0 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
On low heat, warm the honey, butter, and sugar until the sugar is completely dissolved, then remove from heat.
Step 2
Grind coriander and cloves, each 1 tablespoon, and sift through a sieve. Finely chop the ginger, grind it, and mix everything together, adding cinnamon (if you use ground spices, take 1 teaspoon each. You should have a total of 1 tablespoon of spices).
Step 3
Add salt, cocoa, and the mixed spices to the honey-butter mixture. When it cools to a warm state, mix in the egg. Combine the flour with baking powder and gradually add it to the gingerbread mixture. Let the dough rest for 3–4 hours.
Step 4
Roll it out on parchment paper and cut out shapes using cookie cutters. Remove the excess dough.
Step 5
Bake for 12–15 minutes at 390°F.
