Description
For the icing: - 1 egg white - 100 grams powdered sugar - a few drops of lemon juice Whip the egg white, powdered sugar, and lemon juice into a stiff foam.
Ingredients
- Butter 5 oz
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Baking Powder 2 spoons
- Grated Ginger Root 2 spoons
- Red Long Chili Peppers 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the butter and sugar together until smooth. Gradually add the eggs, sift in the flour, baking powder, ginger, and pepper, then knead into a soft dough.
Step 2
Place the dough on a floured surface and knead it. Wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Step 3
Roll out the dough to a thickness of 5 mm and cut out hexagons using a cookie cutter. Inside each hexagon, make an indentation with a smaller cookie cutter.
Step 4
Place the cookies on baking sheets and bake at 355°F for 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 5
Coat the finished cookies with icing and sprinkle with colorful toppings.
