Ginger, cinnamon, and orange zest cookies
Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 20 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Ghee 5 oz
- Baking Powder ½ spoons
- Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
- Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
- Ground Nutmeg 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla salt 1 tablespoon
- Orange zest 0 oz
- Honey 2 spoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift 500 grams of flour and half a packet of baking powder, then add cinnamon, ground ginger, 1 teaspoon of ground nutmeg, a packet of vanilla sugar, and 40 grams of dried, crushed orange zest (I used a pre-packaged version of 20 grams each).
Step 2
Add 150 grams of softened butter and mix well until the mixture resembles sand or breadcrumbs.
Step 3
In a separate bowl, beat 2 eggs with 150 grams of sugar and 2 tablespoons of honey.
Step 4
Pour the eggs into the flour and mix thoroughly — the dough should not stick to your hands.
Step 5
Place it in the refrigerator for an hour to make it easier to work with later.
Step 6
Use cookie cutters to cut out the cookies, place them on a baking sheet, and bake in a preheated oven at 355°F for 10–15 minutes.
