- Brown Sugar 0 oz
- Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
- Light Molasses 50 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sift the flour, cocoa powder, ground ginger, and baking soda into a bowl, then rub in the butter until the mixture resembles fine crumbs. Add the sugar, chocolate pieces, and molasses, and mix well.
Step 2
Divide the mixture into 16 parts and form into balls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving plenty of space between each.
Step 3
Bake at 355°F for 15–20 minutes. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet without removing them.
