German Pie
Ingredients
- Egg white 2 pieces
- Sugar 1½ cups
- Milk ½ ml
- Vegetable Oil ½ cup
- Wheat Flour 2½ cups
- Baking Powder 1 teaspoon
- Vanillin 1 teaspoon
- Butter 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs, add 1 cup of sugar, and beat until frothy.
Step 2
Add the milk and mix. Add the vegetable oil and mix everything together.
Step 3
Mix 2 cups of flour with the baking powder and vanillin. Add to the mixture and knead into a batter that is not too thick, like sour cream.
Step 4
Now make the crumble from the remaining flour, sugar, and butter.
Step 5
Rub the butter with sugar by hand, add the flour, and make the crumble.
Step 6
Pour the batter onto a baking sheet lined with greased parchment paper. Sprinkle the crumble on top.
Step 7
Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for 15–20 minutes.
