Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Milk 25 fl oz
- Salted Butter 5 oz
- Cottage cheese 10 oz
- Chicken Egg 1 piece
- Ground Poppy Seeds 5 oz
- Semolina 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Crush the flour, cold butter, and sugar into crumbs.
Step 2
Take 2/3 of the crumbs and place them at the bottom of a 24 cm springform pan, press down with your hands, and put in the refrigerator.
Step 3
In a large saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and butter for the filling, and bring to a boil.
Step 4
Once the milk is boiling, add the poppy seeds and semolina, stir, and let it sit for 10 minutes. It should become a thick mass, similar to sour cream.
Step 5
Blend the cottage cheese with the egg using a blender.
Step 6
Add the cottage cheese to the poppy seed mixture and stir.
Step 7
Spread the filling over the chilled dough and sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
Step 8
Bake in the oven for 1 hour at 355°F.
