Description

This is the classic Georgian-style cabbage: the leaves are cut in a random manner (though it's better if the pieces are larger), then mixed with beets, carrots, chili peppers, and garlic. A spicy appetizer that can be prepared a day in advance.

Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Combine water, sugar, and salt, bring to a boil, then remove from heat and stir in the vinegar.
