Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Take the garlic, cut off the root end, and separate the cloves. Then crush them with the flat side of a knife, peel off the skins, and place them in a bowl.

Step 2

Chop the peeled garlic with an immersion blender until it reaches a smooth consistency.

Step 3

Next, divide the resulting puree into three equal parts. In one part, add 2 tablespoons of chopped dill and parsley, and mix thoroughly.

Step 4 Image

Step 4

In the second part, add 2 tablespoons of ground paprika and mix thoroughly as well. Leave the third part of the garlic puree unadulterated.

Step 5

Then transfer the garlic mixture into a plastic bag, squeeze out the air, and shape it into a flat layer about one centimeter thick. Press the layer with a cutting board to ensure a smooth surface. Carefully transfer the bag onto the board and place it in the freezer until completely solid.

Step 6

Repeat the same procedure with the garlic puree containing herbs and ground paprika.

Step 7 Image

Step 7

After freezing, take the bags of garlic out of the freezer. You will have solid garlic layers.

Step 8

Next, cut open the bags, remove the frozen garlic, and place it on a cutting board.

Step 9 Image

Step 9

Take a layer of garlic and cut it into random strips or cubes. This layer is very easy to cut. Cut the garlic with herbs and ground paprika in the same way.

Step 10

Transfer the cut garlic layers into a container, close the lid, and store in the freezer. It is most convenient to store this frozen garlic in a container: nothing sticks or breaks.
