Description

Fruitcake with dried fruits

Ingredients

  • Butter 5 oz
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Chicken Egg 4 pieces
  • Raisins 5 oz
  • Dried Apricots 5 oz
  • Prunes 5 oz
  • Nuts 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Baking Powder 3 spoons

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the dried fruits in hot water for 15 minutes. This will soften them and remove any harmful processing from the store.

Step 2

Meanwhile, cut the butter into cubes and cream it with the sugar. Crack the eggs into the same bowl and mix. Set the resulting mixture aside.

Step 3

Rinse the dried fruits and cut them into small cubes (except for the raisins, of course). Simply chop the nuts using your preferred method.

Step 4

Add the dried fruits and nuts to the bowl with the dough.

Step 5

Sift the flour with the baking powder and knead the dough until it is very thick, similar to heavy sour cream! Be careful not to add too much flour!

Step 6

Grease the cake pan with butter and line it with parchment paper (if available). Fill the pan with the batter and place it in a preheated oven at 355°F for 50 minutes. Once a skewer comes out clean from the cake, it is ready.
