Description
You can choose fruits at your discretion or even replace them with berries. It depends on your taste. The amount of fruit or berries should not exceed 2 cups.
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Farm fresh eggs 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Activated Baking Soda a pinch
- Apple 1 piece
- Orange zest 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
While the oven is preheating to 355°F, prepare the batter.
Step 2
Peel the orange and apple, and cut them into small cubes.
Step 3
Beat the eggs with sugar. Add baking soda and flour. Mix thoroughly to avoid lumps. The batter will be runny, similar to pancake batter.
Step 4
Fold the batter with the fruits. Pour into a greased baking pan.
Step 5
Baking time depends on how thin or thick the layer of batter is. A thin layer bakes in 20 minutes. For a thicker layer, increase the baking time. Do not open the oven for the first 15 minutes!
