Fruit Salad with Lime-Mint Sauce
Ingredients
- Light Raisins, Seedless 5 oz
- Seedless Green Grapes 5 oz
- Plums 3 pieces
- Donut Peaches 2 pieces
- Nectarines 2 pieces
- Limes 2 pieces
- Water 1 cup
- Sugar ¼ cup
- Fresh Mint 9 sprigs
- Orange zest 1 teaspoon
- Lime Juice 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a large bowl, combine halved grapes and chopped plums, peaches, and nectarines. Cover and chill.
Step 2
Carefully cut 6 strips of lime zest (only the green part) with a citrus knife and transfer to a saucepan. Add water, sugar, and 3 sprigs of mint. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 5 minutes, until the volume reduces to 0.5 cup.
Step 3
Remove the zest and mint sprigs. Cool, then add finely chopped remaining mint, lime juice, and zest. Drizzle the sauce over the fruits and gently mix.
