Description

This pie is suitable for children's and dietary menus, so it contains no sugar and cannot be considered sweet. If you have a sweet tooth, you can add some while cooking the fruit mixture (about 120 ml).

Ingredients

  • Apple juice with pulp 10 fl oz
  • Dried Apricots 5 oz
  • Raisins 5 oz
  • Butter 0 oz
  • Wheat Flour ¾ cup
  • Vanillin 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon 1½ teaspoons
  • Egg white 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Combine the dried apricots and apple juice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and cook until the apricots are soft.

Step 2

Add the raisins and butter. Heat over low heat, stirring, until the butter melts. Remove from heat and let cool.

Step 3

In a deep bowl, mix the flour, vanillin, and cinnamon. Add the egg whites and mix well. Gradually combine with the fruit mixture.

Step 4

Pour into a greased baking dish. Bake at a low temperature for 35–40 minutes. Serve completely cooled, cut into pieces of 3x4 cm.
