  • Pears 4 pieces
  • Fresh Cranberries 10 oz
  • Apricots in their own juice 15 oz
  • Sugar ¾ cup
  • Ground Cinnamon 5 oz
  • Orange zest 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 1⅓ cups
  • Baking Soda 1 teaspoon
  • Salt ¼ teaspoon
  • Milk ¼ cup
  • Melted Butter 1 tablespoon
  • Chicken Eggs 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 175°C.

Step 2

Grease a 2.5-liter baking dish.

Step 3

In a large pot, combine the pears, cranberries, apricots, ¾ cup of sugar, cinnamon, and zest, and cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until hot.

Step 4

In a medium bowl, combine the flour, ½ cup of sugar, baking soda, and salt, and mix well.

Step 5

Add the milk, melted butter, and eggs to the flour mixture, and mix until smooth.

Step 6

Pour the hot fruit mixture into the prepared baking dish, and top with pieces of butter.

Step 7

Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden brown.

Step 8

Serve warm.
