Description

Instead of sorghum syrup, you can use honey, agave syrup, or any other natural sugar substitute. A few words about the harm of refined sugar: In Russia, sugar is produced from sugar beets, and the refining process requires the use of chlorine. Formaldehyde in polymerized form is always present on the crystals of finished sugar. Add to this filters made from bone char (which are made from the bones of large cattle), evaporation, lime slaking, carbon dioxide treatment, and bleaching with sulfuric acid... The only advantage of refined sugar is its low price.

Ingredients

  • Apple ½ pieces
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Oranges ½ pieces
  • Citrus Zest Mix 0 oz
  • Sorghum Syrup 2 spoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Peel the bananas, break them into large pieces into a container, and drizzle lemon juice over them to prevent the bananas from browning.

Step 2

Peel the orange, removing as much of the pith as possible, and core and peel the apple. Cut the fruits into large pieces and add them to the container with the bananas.

Step 3

Grate or simply cut a piece of lemon zest.

Step 4

Cover the fruits with a lid and freeze them (for example, overnight).

Step 5

Before taking out the frozen fruits, prepare the syrup: mix sorghum syrup with lemon juice.

Step 6

Take out the frozen fruits and blend them using a blender.

Step 7

Combine the syrup with the fruits and blend once more.

Step 8

Place it in the freezer for a couple of hours.

Step 9

When patience wears thin, take out the container with the mixture, turn on the mixer or blender for mashed potatoes, and whip for about 3 minutes.

Step 10

Garnish the finished ice cream with mint, nuts (especially almonds), and fruits.
