- Lemon 1 piece
- Oranges 1 piece
- Sugar 5 oz
- Wheat Flour 15 oz
- Chestnut flour 5 oz
- Almond 5 oz
- Cocoa Powder 3 spoons
- Dried Turkey 0 oz
- Ground Cinnamon 1 tablespoon
- Spices ½ spoons
- Grated Ginger Root 1 tablespoon
- Ground Nutmeg ¼ spoons
- Ground clove ½ spoons
- Salt ¾ spoons
- Baking Powder ½ spoons
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Honey 10 oz
- Activated Baking Soda ¼ spoons
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Powdered Sugar 0 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Mix one cup of white sugar with one cup of water and bring to a boil. Slice the lemon and orange into thin wedges, add them to the syrup, and simmer for 10 minutes. Allow to cool and then chop. Chop the dried fruits (apricots, cherries, cranberries) and mix with 50 grams of the citrus.
Step 2
Combine all the flour, cocoa, spices, salt, baking powder, and baking soda. Using a paddle attachment, beat the brown sugar and honey together. Incorporate the eggs and the flour mixture. Add the remaining fruit and mix well. Place the dough in the refrigerator for one hour.
Step 3
Remove the dough, roll it out, cut out cookies, and bake for 20 minutes at 355°F. Allow to cool and dust with powdered sugar.
