Frozen Blueberry Yogurt
Ingredients
- Blueberries 10 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Lemon Juice 2 tablespoons
- Salt a pinch
- Greek Yogurt 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the blueberries, sugar, lemon juice, and salt. Bring to a boil and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Strain the blueberry syrup, discarding the solids. Let it cool.
Step 2
Mix the yogurt and blueberry syrup until smooth, then refrigerate overnight.
Step 3
Freeze in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Step 4
If you don't have an ice cream maker, immediately transfer the yogurt to a container and place it in the freezer. Stir the yogurt every 20-30 minutes until fully set. Once the yogurt is completely firm, blend it in stages in a blender for a softer consistency and serve as soft-serve, or return it to the freezer until serving.
