Fried Bananas in Coconut Batter

Ingredients

  • Water 0 fl oz
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Serviceberries 2 pieces
  • Fresh Berries 0 oz
  • Desiccated coconut 0 oz
  • Raspberry leaves 2 pieces
  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Vegetable Oil 0 qt
  • Condensed Milk 3 tablespoons
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

First, pour 1 liter of vegetable oil into a saucepan for frying and place it on the heat. Now for the batter. Take a convenient bowl and mix the flour with water, then add the eggs and whisk everything well with a fork or whisk. To avoid lumps, you can strain the mixture through a sieve. After that, add the shredded coconut and mix well. It's ready!

Step 2

Peel the bananas — it's best to use softer bananas as they will be more tender. Cut them in half or leave them whole, whichever you prefer.

Step 3

Check the temperature of the oil — it should be about 355°F. If you don't have a thermometer, you can drop a bit of batter into the saucepan. If it quickly forms but doesn't burn, then it's ready for cooking. Fully dip the peeled banana into the coconut batter and immediately place it carefully into the hot oil for about 3–4 minutes.

Step 4

Place the cooked bananas on a paper towel to drain excess oil.

Step 5

Serve on a plate and drizzle with condensed milk. You can garnish with fresh berries, but it's not necessary.
