  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Panko breadcrumbs 5 oz
  • Bananas 2 pieces
  • Vanilla Ice Cream 8 teaspoons
  • Vegetable Oil to taste
  • Powdered Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Red Currant 10 pieces
  • Fresh Mint 2 stalks

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the breadcrumbs, flour, and beaten egg in three separate plates.

Step 2

Cut the bananas in half.

Step 3

Coat the bananas first in flour, then in egg, and finally in breadcrumbs to ensure they are completely covered.

Step 4

In a skillet, heat 5 centimeters of vegetable oil to 355°F. To check the temperature, drop a piece of bread into the oil. It should turn brown within 30 seconds.

Step 5

Fry the bananas for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

Step 6

Carefully transfer to a paper towel and let the excess oil drain.

Step 7

Plate onto two dishes and sprinkle with powdered sugar. Garnish with ice cream, currants, and mint.
