Step 1
Melt the butter in a preheated skillet.

Add the sugar and stir the mixture.

Melt the sugar in the butter until caramel forms, stirring to prevent burning. Cut the apples into small cubes. It is better to use firm, tart apples.
Step 4
Add the apples to the caramel. Cook over medium heat, frying on all sides. Add a little cinnamon (it will be used again when serving the dish).
