Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the eggs with the milk and sugar.
Step 2
Dip each slice of bread into this mixture. Heat a skillet over medium heat, add the butter, and fry the toast in the sizzling butter on both sides until golden brown.

For the caramel, in a small saucepan, combine the butter, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Let the mixture simmer for about 3 minutes or until it starts to thicken.

Remove from heat. Add the bananas to the sauce. Cover with something and let it sit for 2 minutes.
