- Potato 20 oz
- Sliced Processed Cheese 10 oz
- Onion 2 pieces
- Carrot 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Bay leaf 5 pieces
- Herbs to taste
- Croutons to taste
- Champignons 10 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the chicken in a 3-liter pot and fill it with water. Once the broth begins to boil, add 1 tablespoon of salt, black pepper, and 3-5 bay leaves. Cook for 20 minutes from the moment it starts boiling. Then, remove the meat.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Dice the onion. Grate the carrot. Cut the chicken into small pieces. Cube the processed cheese.
Step 3
Add the potatoes to the boiling broth. Cook for 5–7 minutes from the moment it starts boiling.
Step 4
At this time, prepare a light sauté in butter (or vegetable oil). Start by adding the onion, followed by the carrot. Lightly season with salt and pepper. Add the sautéed mixture to the soup and cook for an additional 5–7 minutes.
Step 5
Then add the chopped meat and mushrooms. Cook for 3–4 minutes, add the processed cheese, stir well, and turn off the heat.
Step 6
Before serving, sprinkle with herbs. Optionally, serve with croutons.
