Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 20 oz
- Sliced Processed Cheese 5 oz
- Potato 15 oz
- Onion 5 oz
- Carrot 5 oz
- Butter to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Herbs to taste
- Bay leaf 3 pieces
- Croutons to taste
- Green peppercorns 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a 3-liter pot, place the meat and add water. Once the broth begins to boil, add 1 teaspoon of salt, a few peppercorns (both allspice and black), and 2–3 bay leaves. Cook for 20 minutes from the moment it starts boiling. Then remove the meat.
Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Dice the onion. Grate the carrot. Cut the meat into small pieces. If using block processed cheese, grate it or cut it into cubes.
Step 3
Add the potatoes to the boiling broth. Cook for 5–7 minutes after it starts boiling.
Step 4
At this time, prepare a light sauté in butter. Start by adding the onion, followed by the carrot. Season lightly with salt and pepper. Add the sautéed mixture to the soup and cook for another 5–7 minutes.
Step 5
Then add the chopped meat. Cook for 3–4 minutes, add the processed cheese, stir well, and turn off the heat.
Step 6
Before serving, sprinkle with herbs. Optionally, serve with croutons.
