French Pockets with Apples and Raisins

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry 15 oz
  • Apple 4 pieces
  • Raisins 0 oz
  • Cinnamon 2 teaspoons
  • Chicken Egg 1 piece
  • Sugar to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Soak the raisins in boiling water for 10 minutes. Peel and chop the apples. Mix them with cinnamon and raisins. Cook for 10–15 minutes.

Step 2

Roll out the dough and cut it into ovals. Place a small portion of the filling on one half. Close and seal the edges tightly. Brush each pocket with beaten egg and sprinkle with sugar. Make a couple of cuts on top.

Step 3

Place all the pockets on a baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes at 390°F.
