Ingredients
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
- Powdered Sugar 5 teaspoons
- Starch film 1 tablespoon
- Salt a pinch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Beat the soft butter with a whisk together with 3 tablespoons of powdered sugar, then add the zest of one lemon, 2 tablespoons of lemon juice, and whisk again.
Step 2
Then add the flour along with the starch and salt. Knead the dough and shape it into a log or rectangle. Wrap it in plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Step 3
Cut the hardened dough into slices 0.5 cm thick.
Step 4
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the cookies on it.
Step 5
Bake at 345°F for 12–13 minutes. The cookies should not brown, but remain light yellow and slightly dry.
Step 6
Roll the warm cookies in the remaining powdered sugar and let them cool.
