Description

A wonderful idea for a French breakfast — delicious, nutritious, and very healthy! This bread is tasty both warm and cold (I even prefer it cold).

Ingredients

  • Bananas 4 pieces
  • Brown Sugar 5 oz
  • Wheat Flour 10 oz
  • Ground Oats 0 oz
  • Farm fresh eggs 2 pieces
  • Vanilla extract 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped almonds 5 oz
  • Activated Baking Soda 1 teaspoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Mash the peeled bananas into a puree. Chop the walnuts coarsely (if using almonds, you can leave them whole).

Step 2

Melt the butter, add the sugar and stir until it dissolves. Mix with the banana puree. Beat the eggs with a fork and add to the mixture, stirring thoroughly.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, mix the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt. Combine with the banana mixture. Add the vanilla extract and nuts — mix everything thoroughly.

Step 4

Pour the prepared batter into a mold and bake at 355°F for 40–50 minutes (depending on the mold). Check for doneness with a toothpick — it should come out dry.
