Description
This pie is usually served with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- Puff Pastry 15 oz
- Clear Apple Juice 5 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Apricot Jam 2 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 390°F.
Step 2
Cut a rectangle from the dough measuring 23x31 cm. Using a knife, make cuts in the dough 2 cm from each edge but do not cut all the way through, so that a frame effect is created after baking. Transfer the dough to parchment paper and chill.
Step 3
Slice the apples very thinly and layer them on the dough, carefully overlapping the slices. Brush the top with melted butter until the apples darken.
Step 4
Bake the pie for 25 minutes until the pastry is crispy.
Step 5
Gently heat the jam and spread it over the warm pie.
