French apple pastries with walnuts, honey, and raisins

Ingredients

  • Wheat Flour 5 oz
  • Walnuts 0 oz
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar 5 oz
  • Butter 5 oz
  • Milk 1 tablespoon
  • Egg white 1 piece
  • Apple 0 lbs
  • Raisins 2 tablespoons
  • Pear Jam 5 tablespoons
  • Honey 2 tablespoons
  • Meyer Lemon Juice 1 tablespoon
  • Walnuts to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Knead a smooth dough from flour, walnuts, salt, sugar, butter, milk, and egg. Wrap it in foil and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.

Step 2

Peel the apples, cut them in half, remove the cores, and slice them.

Step 3

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F). Roll out 6 round discs of dough with a diameter of 15 cm. Decorate the discs with apple slices and place them on the baking sheets. Bake for about 20 minutes.

Step 4

While the layers are still warm, sprinkle them with raisins and pieces of walnuts. Heat the jam, honey, and lemon juice. Brush the pastries with the resulting mixture.
