
Five-Minute Gooseberry Jam

Ingredients
- Gooseberry 0 lbs
- Sugar 1½ kg
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare all the ingredients.
Step 2
Remove the stems and dry tips from the gooseberries. Then rinse the berries.
Step 3
Combine water and sugar in a saucepan.
Step 4
Bring to a boil.
Step 5
Immerse the berries in hot syrup, bring to a simmer over low heat, and cook for 5 minutes.
Step 6
Remove the foam that forms. Take the jam off the heat and let it cool. Then, return the jam to low heat, bring it to a boil, and cook for another 5 minutes.
Step 7
Sterilize the jars over steam for 15–20 minutes.
Step 8
Seal the hot jam in sterilized jars.
Step 9
Serve the gooseberry jam with tea.
