Description

The pies turn out juicy, and the pastry melts in your mouth. I have a small baking tray, I baked 3 and 2 pies.

Ingredients

  • Onion 3 heads
  • Chum Salmon Caviar 20 oz
  • Salt 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil 2 tablespoons
  • Puff Pastry 15 oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Slice the onion into half-rings, season with salt and pepper, and mash with your hands.

Step 2

Cut the chum salmon fillet into small pieces and mix with the onion, adding more salt or pepper if desired.

Step 3

I had dough made from 5 sheets. Roll out each sheet, place the filling, and seal the edges like an envelope (however you prefer). Place the pies on a greased baking tray, brush the tops with egg yolk, and pierce with a sharp knife in several places to allow steam to escape.

Step 4

Place in a preheated oven (390°F) and bake for 20 minutes.
