
Fish Pie with Mushrooms and Leeks

Description
You can use fillets of any fish.
Ingredients
- Leek 2 pieces
- Butter 0 oz
- Champignons 5 oz
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Chicken Egg 10 pieces
- Red mullet fillet 20 oz
- Puff Pastry 20 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Prepare the filling. Clean, rinse, dry, and slice the leeks. Heat butter in a skillet and sauté the leeks until tender.
Step 2
Chop and sauté the mushrooms. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 3
Boil 8 eggs hard, then peel and chop them. Add the eggs and mushrooms to the leek.
Step 4
Cut the fish into cubes and mix with the other ingredients.
Step 5
Dust the countertop with flour, place half of the dough on it, and sprinkle some additional flour on top. Roll it out with a rolling pin.
Step 6
Fold the dough in half, shake off any excess flour, place it on the baking sheet, and unfold it so that the edges of the dough hang over the sides.
Step 7
Evenly spread the filling over the dough.
Step 8
Roll out the second sheet of dough. Cover the filling with it, pinching the edges together with the edges of the bottom layer.
Step 9
Make shallow cuts with a knife across the entire surface of the dough. Create a small hole in the center to allow steam to escape during baking, preventing the bottom layer of the dough from becoming wet.
Step 10
Beat 2 eggs and brush them over the pie.
Step 11
Place the baking tray with the pie in the oven for 40–45 minutes.
Step 12
Remove the pie from the oven and brush it with butter.
