Description
Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving. You can add different purees to create figs with various flavors. For example: currant or cranberry.
Ingredients
- Clear Apple Juice 35 oz
- Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Egg white 3 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Remove the cores from the apples, bake them, and strain.
Step 2
If the strained apples are too liquid, reduce them.
Step 3
Add the powdered sugar and whip.
Step 4
Whip 2 egg whites and combine them with the mixture, whipping again.
Step 5
Spread the mixture onto greased parchment paper.
Step 6
Place in the oven at a temperature above 210°F until the mixture is sticky to the touch.
Step 7
Form the finished fig into two layers by connecting them with 1 whipped egg white.
Step 8
Cut into pieces and dry again for about 30 minutes.
