Farmers' Cheese from Sesame
Snacks • European
Description
You can make great cheeses from sesame, sesame and flax, almonds, cashews, walnuts, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, and flax or sesame.
Ingredients
- Sesame bun 2 cups
- Black sesame seeds 3 tablespoons
- Flaxseeds 2 tablespoons
- White Cabbage 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In the morning, rinse thoroughly and blend all types of seeds with 2 cups of water and 0.5 cups of fermented cabbage juice.
Step 2
Strain through a dense cloth (like muslin or cheesecloth) placed in a strainer. The strained liquid is an amazing probiotic milk.
Step 3
Now for the pulp: without removing it from the cloth and strainer, add anything you like (for example, a little salt, you can grate garlic and mix). Wrap the cloth; to ensure the cheese is completely covered on top, place a small weight (like a plate and a jar of water) on top. Leave it on the counter for 3 days. The strainer hangs in a deep bowl, not touching the bottom. After 3 days, it can be eaten or stored in the refrigerator — it can last there for 7–10 days. It makes a wonderful meal at any time of the day.
