- Wheat Flour 10 oz
- Milk 5 tablespoons
- Butter 5 oz
- Baking Powder 2 teaspoons
- Salt to taste
- Egg white 1 piece
- Fresh Berries 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 430°F. Sift the flour, add salt, powdered sugar, and mix. Add the diced butter and rub the mixture until it resembles crumbs.
Step 2
Beat the egg with the milk. Make a well in the flour mixture, pour in the beaten egg, mix, and knead the dough. Form the dough into a ball.
Step 3
Lightly dust the table, rolling pin, and a round cookie cutter with flour. Roll out the dough to a thickness of 2.5 cm. Cut out scones using the round cutter. Brush each with milk.
Step 4
Bake the scones in the oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Step 5
Cool and serve with fresh berries.
