  • Whole egg 1 piece
  • Cheshire Cheese 0 oz
  • Puff Pastry 25 oz
  • Chocolate eggs 2 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Place the eggs in a pot, cover with water, put a lid on, and bring to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes, drain, and cool for 5 minutes in cold water. Peel and finely chop.

Step 2

Preheat the oven to 430°F. Grease 2 baking sheets with oil. Mix the chopped eggs, olives, diced ham, and grated cheddar.

Step 3

Cut out 30 circles from the dough. Place 1 tablespoon of filling on each circle, fold the dough in half, and seal the edges well.

Step 4

Arrange the pastries on the baking sheet, 2 cm apart, brush with lightly beaten egg yolk, and bake on the middle rack for 15 minutes until golden brown. If the empanadas start to brown quickly, cover them with foil after 10 minutes. Serve hot.
