Description

You can add baking powder and use milk instead of kefir. This will make the pancake fluffier. The classic Eierkuchen bakes for 15 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius, and it becomes puffed on one side.

  • Chicken Egg 2 pieces
  • Sugar 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour 6 tablespoons
  • Vanilla salt to taste
  • Kefir to taste
  • Butter 1 tablespoon

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Beat the eggs with sugar and vanilla.

Step 2

Add flour and kefir until the consistency is like sour cream.

Step 3

Melt the butter in a pan.

Step 4

Cook on low heat (I cooked on 2/3 of 6 on an electric stove) for 15 minutes under a lid.

Step 5

Then flip and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 6

When serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar. It is also delicious with apple jam.
