Ingredients
- Chicken Egg 4 pieces
- Wheat Flour 5 oz
- Sugar 5 oz
- Butter 5 oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Water 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 355°F.
Step 2
Chop the butter and let it come to room temperature.
Step 3
Add the flour and 50 grams of sugar, and rub them together with your hands until crumbly.
Step 4
Add 1 egg and knead the dough into a firm, uniform ball.
Step 5
Take tartlet molds (it's better to use fluted metal ones) and firmly press the dough against the sides of the molds to create little cups, with a thickness of about 3 mm. Prick the bottoms of the tartlets with a fork to prevent them from puffing up.
Step 6
For the filling, dissolve 80 grams of sugar in water, add milk, 3 eggs, and beat with a mixer. Strain through a sieve.
Step 7
Pour the filling into the tartlet shells, leaving about 5 mm from the top edge.
Step 8
Bake for 20–25 minutes.
