Ingredients
- Egg white 1 piece
- Brown Sugar 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Ground Nutmeg ¼ teaspoon
- Chopped almonds 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 250°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a bowl, beat the egg white with a mixer until stiff peaks form, gradually adding the sugar, salt, and nutmeg (the mixture should be glossy). Gently fold in the nuts.
Step 3
Drop 1 teaspoon of the egg white mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving 4 cm of space between them. Smooth the tops.
Step 4
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the meringues are covered with a dry crust.
Step 5
Carefully transfer the warm meringues to a wire rack and cool.
